This group welcomes all mothers and mother-figures raising children on their own, whether by choice, circumstance, separation, loss, or life transition. It focuses on the many different aspects of single parenting and strives to create a sense of connection, recognition, and shared understanding.
Being a single parent means many things. It means carrying the weight of daily responsibilities alone, navigating moments of doubt, and finding ways to balance work and parenting while rarely having space to pause for yourself. It can also mean making big decisions without someone to lean on, and sometimes feeling invisible as a person beyond your role as a parent. And yet, alongside all of this, there are also moments of joy, pride, and tenderness that are entirely your own.
In this group, there is no expectation of doing it all “perfectly.” Instead, there is room to be honest, to breathe, and to be seen without judgment. There can be comfort in discovering that others share similar struggles and questions, even when our stories look different on the surface.
Over time, many mothers find not only relief in being understood, but also a gradual reconnection with who they are beyond parenthood.
All our groups take place in a supportive environment where you are free to participate in the way that feels right for you. Share if you wish, listen quietly, or simply be present. There is no pressure to open up before you are ready. We meet regularly, and over time, the group often becomes a place of recognition and relief. A safe space where things begin to make a little more sense, where new perspectives can emerge naturally, and where you can try out different ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.
