What Does It Mean to Be a Man Today?
A group for anyone who identifies with a masculine gender.
Many of us have inherited ideas about masculinity that no longer quite fit, while new ways of understanding what it means to be a man are still taking shape.
This group offers a space to explore that in-between: to question, reflect, and make room for uncertainty, without needing to have all the answers.
Together, participants will explore their own relationship with masculinity, the expectations they have inherited, the pressures and costs they may carry, and the possibilities they see for themselves. Through shared reflection, the group invites participants to consider what they want to keep, what they might want to let go of, and what they would like to redefine.
This is neither a space for defending masculinity nor for simply criticising it from the outside. It is a space for men and masculine-identifying people to think from within their own experience, critically, openly, and without judgement.
All our groups take place in a supportive environment where you are free to participate in the way that feels right for you. Share if you wish, listen quietly, or simply be present. There is no pressure to open up before you are ready. We meet regularly, and over time, the group often becomes a place of recognition and relief. A safe space where things begin to make a little more sense, where new perspectives can emerge naturally, and where you can try out different ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.
