Many people find themselves in a complicated relationship with pornography or sexual behaviour without quite knowing how it happened. What may have begun as something ordinary gradually became more frequent, more necessary, or harder to step back from. Over time, it may have begun to interfere with daily life, relationships, work, or simply with how you feel about yourself. This is more common than it appears. And yet it is one of the most difficult things to speak about, carrying a weight of shame and secrecy that keeps most people silent for far longer than they should have to be.
For many people, simply being able to speak about something that has lived in silence for a long time is itself a significant and meaningful step. Meanwhile, hearing others speak openly about similar experiences often helps reduce shame and the sense of being alone with the struggle
Through guided discussion and therapeutic reflection, participants are supported in developing greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, and more sustainable ways of managing urges and emotional distress. The group focuses not only on reducing compulsive behaviours, but also on strengthening connection, self-understanding, and overall emotional wellbeing.
All our groups take place in a supportive environment where you are free to participate in the way that feels right for you. Share if you wish, listen quietly, or simply be present. There is no pressure to open up before you are ready. We meet regularly, and over time, the group often becomes a place of recognition and relief. A safe space where things begin to make a little more sense, where new perspectives can emerge naturally, and where you can try out different ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.
